As a quilter and with many Farnsworth relatives I would love to know what
you find out. I was struck though that many of the names on the Quilt could
also be from Samuel Farnsworth b. 1805 Loudoun, Virginia d. Woodbine,
Harrison county, Iowa.

I am researching a quilt in the collection of the Society for the
Preservation of New England Antiquities that is inscribed with 39 names,
including 6 Farnsworths: Martha, Mrs. Samuel, Mary, Luther, Olive, and Mary
Ann. We believe the quilt was made in Brookline, NH and it is dated 1848 and
1849. Do any of you know anything about these people and the relationships
between them?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sincerely,

Melinda Talbot
