John Frankiln Farnsworth

> I am doing research on John Franklin Farnsworth and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I know that he was born in 1820 in Eaton, Canada and died in 1897 in Washington D.C. He was a U.S. congressman, civil war general and friend of Lincoln. He had one surviving son, John Farnsworth Jr., who had five children, John III, Thomas, Gertrude, Eunice and Virginia. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
