Deacon Isaac Farnsworth b. Nov. 30, 1723 son of Isaac
Farnsworth and wife Sarah Page of Groton, MA Grandson
of Benjamin Farnsworth and wife, Mary Prescott of Groton
MA.
Deacon Isaac Farnsworth was town clerk from 1778 to 1781
and Representative to the General Court 1781. Again town
clerk 1785 - 1788.  In a town meeting, Dec 16, 1773,
respecting the tea tax he was again made a member of the
committee to consider and report on the subject. (see
also Butler's History of Groton p. 123.  

He m. (1) Dec. 4, 1744, Anna Green, dau of Eleazer
Green and wife, Anna (Tarbell) Green of Groton, MA.  She
b. July 23, 1725; she d. and he m. (2) Oct. 9, l800
Lydia Nutting widow of Timothy Moors.  Timothy Moors b.
Sep 11, 1720.  Lydia (Nutting) Moors b. Nov 20, 1723.

1.   Anna Farnsworth b. Jan 23, 1746 m. June 25, 1772
     William Colburn of Hollis, NH who died at Fort
     George on Oct 26, 1776 age 29 in the service of his
     country; he b. June 3, 1747 at Pepperell, MA son of
     James Colburn Jr. and wife Sarah.  They had one
     child:  Anna Colburn b. Mar 19, 1773.

2.   Isaac Farnsworth b. Jan 14, 1748 d. 1835 unm.

3.   Elizabeth Farnsworth b. Mar 24, 1750 m. Mar 3,
     1774, Caleb Blood of Groton, MA as his 2d wife.
     His lst wife was Hannah Holden dau of John Holden
     and his wife, Sarah (Davis) Holden, b. June 24,
     1735; m. Nov 1, 1753; she d. Sept 1, 1773.  He b.
     Nov 23, 1734 son of John Blood and wife, Joanna
     (Nutting) Blood.  She d. Dec 9, 1819 and he d.
     Dec 9, 1804.
          Caleb Blood had by his lst wife, Hannah Holden
          at Groton, MA:

5.   Sally Farnsworth b. Apr 12, 1755 m. 1776 John Pierce
     Jr., of Shirley, MA  She d. Aug 1, 1833.  John
     Pierce, Jr. served in the Rev. War army and was
     stationed at Boston. Resided lst at Shirley, MA
     then at Westmoreland, NH, thence to VT and then to
     ME - back to VT again and then back to NH but d.
     at Syracuse, NY.

6.   Molly Farnsworth b. Nov 28, 1758 m. July 21, 1789
     Thomas Tarbell b. Oct 8, 1751 son of Thomas Tarbell
     and his wife, Esther (Smith) Tarbell of Groton, MA
     It is said they had 4 daughters one of whom was
     Lydia Tarbell who m. ____Whitney of Pepperell, MA

7.   John Farnsworth b. Jan 19, 1765 m. Nov 29, 1789
     Nancy Baker b. ca 1769 at Groton, MA.  He d. Dec.
     22, 1843.

8.   Samuel Farnsworth b. Sep 29, 1767 m. Nov 25, 1788
     Elizabeth Fitch dau of Capt. Zachariah Fitch of
     Groton, M b. Dec 30, 1769.  He d. Nov 7, 1817;
     she d. Apr 6, 1844.  Samuel Farnsworth was a noted
     physician and resided at Bridgeton, ME
          1.  Betsey Farnsworth b. 1789 at Groton, MA
              m. Thomas Perley; she d. 1838 at Brigeton
                 l. Elizabeth Perley m. ___Blake of Phila.

                 2. Thomas Flynt Perley MD practiced at

          2.  Samuel Farnsworth b. 1791 m. 1817 Nancy
              Mussey dau of Theodore & Dolley (Sanburn)
              Mussey; she d. 1882.  He was M.D. Res:
              Bridgeton, ME He d. 1842.
          3.  Benjamin F. Farnsworth b. 1793 at Bridgeton
              ME Grad. Dartmouth & theology at Portland
              and Phila. m. (l) 18l7 Julia A. Cushing
              of Ashburnham, MA  He ordained 1818 at
              the Baptist Church, Edenton, NC then re-
              turned to MA and took charge of the
              Middleborough Academy.  She d. 18l9.  He
              m. (2) 1821 Maria Cates Ripley.
          4.  Henry Farnsworth b. 1796 d. 1817 unm.
          5.  Isaac Farnsworth b. 1798 m. ______
          6.  Harriet Farnsworth b. 1804 d. 18l8
          7.  Caroline E. Farnsworth b. 1806 m. 1824
              Hon. George Pierce of Otisfield, ME he b.
              July 22, 1799.  She d. 1871.  He was
              adjutant of the old militia and Brigade
              Quartermaster, JP and Coroner; Gov's
              Council 1857-1858; Rep 1861; Senator
              1865-1866 also a surveyor and with the
              Haven - Treadwell Co. of Portsmouth NH
              at the headwaters of the Kennebec and
              Penobscot Rivers.  He was in charge of
              the township of Dummer NH. In 1876 he
              res. in Harrison, ME and held prominent
              positions in that town and state  No
              children.
          8.  Sybil Anna Farnsworth b. 1812 m. 1831 
              Solomon Andrews fo Bridgeton, ME  She d.
              1882 Four children but the name of only
              one is known:
                   l. George Andrews b. Sep 29, 1835
                      at Bridgeton, ME.
