The truth is I haven't done much at all. It is not a newsletter at all.
It is an automated E-mail List. With a newsletter, everyone
sends e-mail to an editor who compiles the information and later sends
it out to a list of e-mail addresses that the editor maintains.
With an automated E-mail List, any messages sent to the list's email
address are automatically and immediately sent to all of the list's
subscribers. The list of subscribers is maintained automatically.
Anyone may subscribe or unsubscribe to the list.

Its faster turnaround time allows for much more interactivity than
does a newsletter.

I am happy to donate the computer resources to maintain the Farnsworth
Family History List, but I haven't had the time to advertise and get it
going. I just decided to put an description on http://www.farnsworth.org
to see what would happen. So far, only 5 people have subscribed and
no one has sent any messages. It hasn't really taken off yet; it needs
someone like you to get it off the ground!

I would encourage all who are interested to subscribe by sending
an e-mail message to history-subscribe at farnsworth.org. An empty
message will work.
