Dillon Hiram Farnsworth

[Doug & Nancy Farnsworth]

     I am the Grandson of Dillon Hiram Farnsworth b01-08-1878 in Westport NY(Essex County) . I am just beginning to research my family tree and looking for a little assistance on getting started.
    I do know that my great grandfather's name was William and Dillon had a brother that went west(possibly Chicago). Information on Dillon's siblings and William's beginnings are very fuzzy.  The family believes that we migrated from Vermont.
    Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
